William Towns
William Towns ( 1936 - 1993 ) was a British car designer.
Vehicles like the Aston Martin DBS (1967), Jensen-Healey (1972) and Aston Martin Lagonda (1974) were designed by him. Towns worked as a designer for Rootes (seats, door handles etc.) and for the automobile manufacturer Rover . In 1966 he moved to Aston Martin , where he shaped the design of the vehicles in the 1970s.
