Interstyl was a British design company and manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The designer William Towns founded the company in Compton Verney in the county of Warwickshire in 1974 . He started developing and producing automobiles. The brand name was u. a. Interstyl . Production ended in 1989. A total of over 350 copies were made.

vehicles

The most successful product was a kit car , designed in 1979 and sold under the brand name Hustler between 1980 and 1989 .

The Astra was created in 1978 . This was a small car . A transversely installed four-cylinder engine from the Mini propelled the vehicle. The vehicle remained a prototype .

In 1985 Interstyl manufactured the Black Prince as a one-off. This was a replica of the Invicta Black Prince . The chassis of the Reliant Kitten formed the basis. There was a connection with Invicta Cars from Plymouth .

The tracer appeared in 1986 . This was an open two-seater that remained a prototype.

Of pizazz or pizzazz emerged from 1986 to 1987 three copies. These were add-on parts for the Peugeot 205 .
