Island Plastics was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company from Cowes , Isle of Wight, began supplying car bodies to The Frogeye Car Company in 1985 . In 1997 the production of automobiles and kits began. The brand name was Ipi . Production ended in 1998. A total of about three copies were made.

The Healey Sprite Motor Company continued production under its own brand name.

vehicles

The only model was the Frogeye . This was a replica of the first generation Austin-Healey Sprite . The body was made of fiberglass . A Toyota engine powered the vehicles.
