Adams roadster was a British company in the automotive and former automobile manufacturer.

Company history

Dennis Adams, who previously Adams Testing Engine launched in 1982 founded the company in Frome in the county of Somerset . He started producing automobiles and kits in 1986 . The brand name was Adams . Ian Peter Fellows and Stephen Leslie Hart served as Directors from July 13, 1991. In 1999 automobile production ended. A total of about 18 copies were made. On August 30, 2011 the company was dissolved.

vehicles

The only model was the roadster . It was a 1930s-style vehicle and resembled an SS 100 . The base was a ladder frame. A fiberglass body was mounted on top. An engine from the Vauxhall Monza powered the first prototype . In the production models, the drive and six-cylinder engine came from the Jaguar XJ 6 .
