Farboud GT

Arash Motor Company Limited , previously Farboud Limited , is a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Arash Farboud founded in 1999, the company Farboud Limited in Sawston in the county of Cambridgeshire . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was initially Farboud . In 2006 the name was changed to Arash Motor Company Limited . Since then, the vehicles have been marketed as Arash . The company's headquarters are now in Newmarket , Suffolk .

Farboud

The first Farboud GT model was presented in January 2002 at the Autosport International trade fair . A tubular steel frame formed the basis. A body made of Kevlar was mounted on it. A V6 engine from Audi with two turbochargers drove the vehicle. The engine output was depending on the version with 420 PS specified to 600 hp.

Another model was the Farboud GTS , which was similar to the McLaren F1 . According to Arash, only three examples of this model were made before the project was sold to another company.

Arash AF10

The Arash AF 10 presented in 2009 remained a one-off.

This was followed by the Arash AF 8 . The vehicle is powered by a V8 engine with a displacement of 7000 cm³ and an output of 550 hp to 560 hp. It is 415 cm long, 190 cm wide, 110 cm high and weighs 1200 kg.

At the Geneva Motor Show 2016, Arash presented the concept of a hybrid super sports car again under the name Arash AF 10 . The vehicle should have a total output of 2080 hp, which is distributed over four electric motors and a 900 hp V8 engine with supercharger .
