Bradford was a British car brand that was founded by Jowett Cars Ltd. between 1946 and 1954 . was made in Bradford, Yorkshire .

It was the CA delivery van with 400 kg payload and the two station wagons CB (200 kg payload) and CC (300 kg payload) based on the Jowett 8 hp from 1937. The side-controlled in-line two - cylinder engine had a displacement of 1005 cm³, which was slightly larger than the Jowett and provided 25 bhp (18.4 kW) at 3500 min -1 .

In 1954 a pickup with a counter-controlled motor was developed, which was to come onto the market as a CD . However, problems with the production meant that these vehicles never came onto the market.

Thus the brand was discontinued in 1954.
