Gordano engine

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Gordano Motor Co. Ltd. was a British automobile manufacturer based in Bristol (Somerset) only in 1948 .

The Gordano was a two-seater roadster with free-standing fenders and four individually suspended wheels. The car was developed by racing driver Dick Caesar . It was supposed to be powered by a rotary valve engine, but ultimately it was fitted with an in-line four-cylinder engine with ordinary lift valves. Only a prototype is proven; It is not known whether further copies were built later.
