Oskar von Normann (born February 25, 1844 in Berlin ; † October 17, 1912 in Barckow , Greifenberg district ) was the owner of the manor and a member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Normann visited the cadet corps in Potsdam and Berlin. In 1861 he was an officer in the Kaiser Franz Grenadier Regiment, then in the Zietenschen and 16th Hussar and 3rd Dragoons Regiment. He participated in the wars of 1864, 1866 and 1870/71. From 1869 to 1874 he was the personal adjutant of Prince Friedrich Karl Nikolaus of Prussia . In 1883, as a major and regular staff officer, he said goodbye and bought and managed the Barckow manor in the Greifenberg district .

From 1898 until his death in 1912 he was a member of the Prussian House of Representatives and from 1890 of the German Reichstag for the constituency of the Stettin District 7 ( Greifenberg , Kammin ) and the German Conservative Party . From 1898 to 1912 he was parliamentary group leader of the German Conservatives in the Reichstag.
