This manufacturer of automotive components, motorsport products and aerospace technology products was based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire . Before the takeover, the company was called Freestream . Its founders were Graham Halstead and Ben Scott-Geddes , who had previously worked as engineers on the McLaren F1 project. In April 2006, the company was bought by the Indian Caparo Group and renamed Caparo Vehicle Technologies.

The T1 sports car was built by Caparo .

Caparo was closed in January 2019.
