Encore Cars was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

John Hostler founded in 1992, the company in Norwich in the County of Norfolk . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Encore . Production ended in 1997 when Hostler was hired by Lotus Cars . A total of about ten copies were made.

vehicles

The only model was the Super 95 . This was the replica of the Lotus Elite . The basis was a chassis with a front and rear subframe. A fiberglass coupé body was mounted on top. Various Ford - four-cylinder engines from the Ford Escort and Ford Sierra drove to the vehicles.
