Landar Components Ltd. was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The brothers Peter and Clive Radnall founded the company in Birmingham in 1962 and began building racing cars . Several road vehicles followed in 1965. The brand name was Landar . Production ended in 1967. Another source gives the production period from 1968 to 1970. A total of ten copies were made. In 1967, the company also produced racing cars for Formula Vee known as Smithfield .

The only road vehicle was the R 6 . The vehicle was based on the Mini . The open two-seater body was designed in the style of a racing sports car. The height was only about 76 cm (30 inches ). A Canadian company took over the project in 1970.
