Argyle was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Kim Argyle, who was also involved in building the first Mosquito , founded the company in 1971 and began manufacturing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Trimin . Production ended in 1972. A total of three copies were made that still exist today.

vehicles

The only model was a tricycle with a rear single wheel. The Mini formed the basis . An open body without doors was mounted on it. A four-cylinder engine from the Mini was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the front wheels. Two of the vehicles were two-seaters. They were given a street legal and the British Mark GOM 666 D or AJB 783 B .

A third vehicle was a single-seater intended for record attempts. It was not street legal.
