Summerfield Car Company was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

1992 Tim Summerfield founded the company in Craven Arms in the county of Shropshire . He started producing automobiles and kits . Baz Cope supported him. The brand name was Summerfield . Production ended in 1994. A total of about twelve copies were made.

vehicles

The only model was the solar . This was a replica of the Lola Mk 1 racing car from Lola Cars from 1958 to 1962. The basis was a spaceframe frame. Many parts, including the four-cylinder engine , came from the Alfa Romeo GTV .
