Auto Speciali Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Jonathan Lane Harris and Keith Kirk, who previously Venom Sports Cars headed, founded on March 6, 2006, the company in Bromsgrove in the county of Worcestershire . They started making automobiles and kits . The brand name was Auto Speciali . Kirk left the company on May 28, 2007 and died in 2008. Production ended in 2010. On October 4, 2011, the company was dissolved.
vehicles
One model was the AS 427 . This was a replica of an AC Cobra . Other manufacturers of this model were Fiero Factory (1998–2002), Euro 427 Sports Cars (2002–2003), again Fiero Factory (2003–2004), Venom Sports Cars (2004–2006) and Vindicator Cars (since 2010). A total of about 1000 copies were made.
The Veleno and Predator were visually independent sports cars. A spaceframe formed the basis. Various engines from the Toyota MR 2 , V6 engines from Ford and V8 engines powered the vehicles. Many parts came from the Ford Granada . The Veleno was only available as a kit . It found around four buyers between 2006 and 2010. The identical Predator was the finished vehicle. Vindicator Cars continued production from 2010.
The Venom was a replica of the Dodge Viper . This model was also previously produced by Fiero Factory (1995–2003) and Venom Sports Cars (2003–2006). Again many parts from the Ford Granada were used. Between 1995 and 2008, about 75 vehicles of this model were built by the three manufacturers together.
Auto Speciali also tried to market the Healy , which Lamberti Classic Cars designed between 2005 and 2006, but failed to produce mass production.
