Simpatico was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The designer Peter Stevens founded in 1993 or 1996, the company in East Dereham in the county of Norfolk . He began producing automobiles and kits in partnership with the Dove Car Company, led by Colin Jones . The brand name was Barchetta . Production ended in 1996 or 1997. A total of about twelve copies were made.

vehicles

The only model was the 595 . The technical basis was the Fiat 126 . An open two-seater body made of plastic was mounted on it, resembling the Fiat Nuova 500 . Doors were dispensed with.

Cool Car 500 made a similar vehicle years later, but with doors and two roll bars behind the seats.
