Central Vehicle Conversions (CVC) Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Bob Williams founded on 12 August 1985, the company in Ravenstone in the county of Leicestershire . John Fitzpatrick stood by his side. The connection to RW Services is unclear. He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Bedouin . Production ended in 1987. A total of about 20 copies were made.
vehicles
The base of the vehicles formed a chassis of Citroen . Mostly they were chassis from the 2 CV , but those from Dyane and Ami 6 could be used as well. A body in the form of a small station wagon was placed on top. The body was initially made of plywood and later made of fiberglass . The two - cylinder boxer engine was mounted in the front of the vehicle and drove the front wheels.
The vehicle is referred to as the British equivalent of the Citroën Méhari .
