The Kieft Cars Limited in Wolverhampton (Staffordshire) was a British automobile manufacturer.

history

In 1950, Cyril Kieft specialized in the production of Formula 3 and other racing cars. From 1953, roadsters with engines from various suppliers were also manufactured.

At the London Motor Show in the autumn of 1954, Kieft presented the 1100 CC with a built-in engine from Coventry Climax . It had a plastic body, a race-proven tubular frame chassis and independent wheel suspension as well as a four-cylinder engine with overhead camshaft , 1098 cm³ displacement, 72 hp (53 kW) and a top speed of 180 km / h.

From 1956 to 1961, Kieft turned back to the construction of vehicles that were intended exclusively for racing.
