Atlantis Motor Company was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

1980 Michael Booth founded the company in Thetford in the county of Norfolk . He started producing automobiles and kits in 1982 . The brand name was Atlantis . Production ended in 1986. A total of about 14 copies were made. The molds for the bodies are again in the possession of Michael Booth after having belonged to Ronart Cars for some time .

Vehicles in the style of the 1930s were on offer. In addition to coupés , there were also some convertibles that were given the model name Alcaeus . A six-cylinder engine from the Jaguar XJ 6 powered the vehicles. Only one vehicle that was used in car races received a V8 engine from Chevrolet . Initially, only complete vehicles were on offer at prices starting at £ 39,000 . The vehicle was later also available as a kit .
