Hoppa Street Buggy is a British manufacturer of automobiles .

prehistory

John Warner, Barry Howard and Oliver Thorndale founded on 22 March 2004, the company Fubar Factory in Stratford-upon-Avon in the county Warwickshire . But they started producing automobiles and kits as early as 2002 or 2003 . The brand name was Hoppa .

Company history

Barry Warner, the father of John Warner, has continued production in the new company Hoppa Street Buggy since 2007 . The location is in Cullompton in Devon . One source states that production ended in 2010. According to another source, vehicles are still being made. A total of about five to ten copies have been made so far.

The offer is the Hoppa , also called Street Hoppa . It corresponds to the Son of a Beach by Fubar Factory . This is a modern VW buggy . The basis is the chassis of the VW Beetle , which is shortened by 40 cm. The original four - cylinder boxer engines drive the vehicles. However, a Subaru boxer engine can also be installed.
