Darrian Cars is a British manufacturer of automobiles . One source also uses the company name Team Duffee Engineering .

Company history

Tim Duffee, who previously worked for Davrian , founded the company in Pontrhydfendigaid , Wales in 1984 . He started producing automobiles and kits in 1985 . The brand name is Darrian . The company is now located in Llangybi near Lampeter , also in Wales. A total of almost 100 copies have been made so far.

vehicles

The T 9 was the first model. It was based on Davrian's models. This was a small coupe , particularly suitable for racing. A four-cylinder engine from Ford was in mid engine design mounted behind the seats. Around 39 vehicles were built between 1985 and 1990.

The T 90 was the further development. Robin Herd was involved. This model found around 26 buyers between 1990 and 1996.

This resulted in the T 90 GTR , which has been on offer since 1996. Around 20 vehicles have been built so far.

The Monte Carlo MC 220 Berlinette was a major exception in the model range. This was a replica of the Alpine A 110 . The new price was around 25,000 pounds and was therefore too expensive for greater market success. Only about four copies were made between 2001 and 2002. According to another source, this model was already available before the turn of the millennium.
