Gravetti Engineering Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

Nigel Gravett founded on July 18, 1984, the company in Staplecross in the county of East Sussex . He took over a project from Automotive Design & Developments and started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Gravetti . 1985 moved to Sandhurst in Kent , 1986 to Mere in Wiltshire , on February 22, 1988 to Wincanton in Somerset and on June 27, 1988 to Bristol . Production ended in 1988. On July 12, 1993 the company was dissolved.

The only model was the 427 . This was the replica of the AC Cobra . An open body made of fiberglass was mounted on a ladder frame .

A total of about 70 copies of the model 427 were made by the three manufacturers.
