Company history

The Manchester company began manufacturing automobiles in 1979. The brand name was Yak . Production ended in 1984. A total of seven vehicles were built.

The only model Yeoman was a four - wheel drive off - road vehicle . The base was a tubular frame. The body was made of aluminum plates coated with plastic. A four-cylinder engine from Ford drove to the vehicle. One source indicates an engine from the Ford Escort with a capacity of 1300 cc . Another source mentions a V4 engine with 1700 cc from the Ford Capri . The original price was 2800 pounds .
