Custom Glassfibre was a British manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

1976 Tom Pawley founded the company in Okehampton in the county of Devon . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was Custom Glassfibre . Production ended in 1980. A total of about 105 copies were made.

This model was previously made by Ray's Rods . It was a hot rod based on the Ford Model T . About 30 copies were made of this.

Ford Pop

Fiberglass Applications from Westbury this model manufactured since 1975. Custom Glass Fiber took over 1978 production. Quality Rod Parts from Hove made the chassis . The suspension came from Jaguar Cars . A body made of glass fiber reinforced plastic was mounted on top. Outwardly, the vehicle resembled a Ford Popular from 1953. About 75 copies were made of this model.
