Winners and Sinners (alternatively Five Lucky Stars ) is a martial arts film filmed in Hong Kong in 1983 with Sammo Hung in the lead role.

action

Five unlucky petty criminals are released from prison and want to finally earn a living with honest work, which is why they set up a cleaning company. However, by chance they come across a suitcase with counterfeit money and the associated printing plates, which makes them the target of the Hong Kong underworld boss. When the sister of one of the protagonists is kidnapped, they start a big rescue operation, which ends in a showdown in a warehouse.

Remarks

  • The climax of the film are the chase on roller skates and the pile-up.
  • The film is the first in the successful Lucky Stars series. Yuen Biao and Jackie Chan can only be seen in a supporting role. The sequels are Tokyo Powerman and Powerman 2 .
