Stanley Fung

Stanley Fung , actually Shui-fan Fung (born June 1, 1943 in Guangdong , Republic of China ), is a Chinese actor and director .

Life

Shui-Fan Fung grew up in an opera family. He joined show business in 1971 and worked for Television Broadcast Limited (TVB), where he appeared on a number of TV series. In 1976 he made his debut as a producer for Chinese television (CTV) and worked there until 1978. Then he returned to TVB.

Fung became known in Germany alongside Sammo Hung , Jackie Chan and Yuen Biao through the Powerman films. He has appeared in over 100 films so far.

In addition to his work in television, Fung has appeared as an actor in numerous films from the fields of comedy, ghost and fantasy films. One of his most famous roles was that of "Rawhide", which he embodied in the long-lasting "Lucky Stars" film series. In the film series he plays alongside Sammo Hung , Charlie Chin, Richard Ng , Eric Tsang and Kiu Wai Miu.
