Prowler is a British car brand.

Brand history

Mel Hubbard founded in 1999, the company Manxbuggies in Dartford in the county of Kent . He started producing automobiles and kits . The brand names were u. a. Bounty , Manx and Prowler . He later moved to Wisbech in Cambridgeshire . East Coast Manx from Uppingham in Rutland , later King's Lynn in Norfolk , has continued production under the direction of Rob Kilham since 2003 . A total of about ten copies have been made so far.

Another source states that Manx UK was the first manufacturer from 2002 to 2004 and East Coast Manx since 2004.

The only model is a VW buggy . The basis is the chassis of the VW Beetle , which is shortened by 40 cm. An open body is mounted on it.
