Opel record

The Opel Rekord was a successful series of passenger cars from the automobile manufacturer Opel . The upper middle class vehicles were produced in eight generations in Germany from spring 1953 (initially under the name Olympia Rekord ) to mid-1986, and around 10 million units were sold in total.

The record was replaced by the Omega model , which was produced in two generations from late summer 1986 to mid-2003.
