The Opel Corsa E is a small car manufactured by Adam Opel AG from November 2014 to June 2019 .
The Corsa E is the fifth generation of the series and replaces the predecessor Corsa D after eight years . Opel adapted the appearance of the vehicle to the smaller Adam ; Design elements of the Insignia are also recognizable. Like its predecessors, the Corsa is available as a three- and five-door model. The chassis of the Corsa E has been completely redesigned. The platform of the Corsa E largely corresponds to that of the Corsa D; the two models hardly differ in their dimensions.
The Corsa E was presented from October 4th to 19th, 2014 at the Paris Motor Show in Paris . Among other things, it is available with new turbocharged three-cylinder gasoline engines with a balancer shaft . It has been delivered to Switzerland since January 2015. In Germany, Opel launched it on January 24, 2015.
Like its predecessor, the Corsa E was manufactured in the Eisenach and Saragossa plants . The last Corsa E from Eisenach rolled off the production line on May 3, 2019, and since then it has only been manufactured in Saragossa.
In June 2019, the successor Corsa F was presented.

The concept of the chassis of the Corsa with triangular wishbones and MacPherson struts at the front and torsion beam axle at the rear, electrically assisted rack and pinion steering and hydraulically operated disc brakes remained the same, the individual parts were newly developed. The center of gravity of the vehicle is five millimeters lower than that of the previous model.
Furnishing
Eight equipment variants Selection , Edition , Drive , Color Edition , Innovation , 120 Years of Opel (2019), GSi (from 2018) and OPC were offered.
New equipment options include a bi- xenon headlight system that works with a 25 watt burner and does not require automatic headlight range control or headlight cleaning systems, with LED daytime running lights and the driver assistance systems traffic sign assistant, lane assistant, distance display , front collision warning, high beam assistant and blind spot Warner . In addition, a steering wheel heating , a reversing camera and a FlexFix bicycle rack can be selected.
Paint colors
The Opel Corsa E was offered in the following colors: Arctic blue, midnight blue, opal blue, royal blue, apple green, mint green, emerald green, sunny yellow, mandarin orange, magma red, abalone white, snow white, argon silver, carbon silver, platinum anthracite and graphite black. Some of the colors were only available for certain models.
