Model variants

5/12 hp (1911)

The first series, built in 1911, had a 1.26 liter engine with 12 hp at 1800 rpm. The maximum speed was 50–55 km / h. The car cost between 4,000 and 5,200 marks .

5/12 hp (1912-1914)

The second series received a larger and more powerful engine. The displacement was now 1.3 liters. It developed 14.5 hp at 1800 rpm. The car now cost between 4,200 and 5,200 marks.

5/12 (5/14) HP (1914)

With the same output, the displacement was increased to 1.4 liters. It was also available as an open four-seater. This model variant was nicknamed "Puppchen" and cost 7,300 marks.

5/12 (5/14) PS (1916-1920)

From 1916 the car received a 1.5-liter engine with still 14.5 hp at 1800 rpm. It cost 5300 marks as a two-seater and 5300 marks as a four-seater (little doll).

Engines

The four series of four-cylinder, four-stroke in-line engines with aluminum crankcases had side-mounted valves, excavator oiling , spray carburettors and tube coolers with fans. The increase in displacement was achieved in the first three series by increasing the piston stroke from 95 mm over 98 mm to 105 mm with the same 65 mm cylinder bore; the exact displacements are therefore - calculated with 3.14 for the number of circles and rounded to an integer: 1260 cm³, 1300 cm³ and 1393 cm³. From 1916 the cylinder bore was 70 mm, the stroke 102 mm, which means 1569 cm³ and would have to result in 6 tax horsepower .
