History and technology

The 9/25 hp had a larger engine than its 8/22 hp predecessor. It was a side-controlled four - cylinder in - line engine with a displacement of 2332 cm³, which produced 28 hp (20.6 kW) at 1600 rpm. performed. The engine power was passed on to the rear axle via a leather cone clutch, a manual four-speed gearbox and a cardan shaft . This enabled the car to reach a top speed of 65 km / h.

The steel longitudinal member frame had auxiliary frames to accommodate the two rigid axles, which were suspended on semi-elliptical longitudinal leaf springs. The service brake was designed as a band brake and acted on the transmission output shaft.

The 9/25 hp was available as a two-seater Phaeton , four-seater touring car , four-door Pullman sedan and as a special landaulet with the character of a double phaeton.

Production of the 9/25 PS ended in 1922 and the new 9/30 PS and 10/30 PS models replaced it.
