Martin Ørnskov Nielsen (born October 10, 1985 in Silkeborg ) is a Danish football player.
Career
Ørnskov joined the Silkeborg IF youth team as a teenager . After he went from a youth player to a professional during the winter break of the 2003/04 season, he was immediately used in the professional team. In 2007 he was relegated from the Superligaen with Silkeborg IF , and two years later he was promoted again.
National team
Martin Ørnskov already played in the Danish U-21 national team . In the 2-1 win against the Netherlands in Enschede, he was substituted on for Mikkel Thygesen in the final minute .
After good performances in Silkeborg, he and his teammate Rajko Lekić were nominated by Morten Olsen at the end of February for the international A match against Austria on March 3rd . In the 1: 2 defeat in Vienna , however, he was not used.
