Beatrice Lyra
Beatriz Lyra (* 2. May 1930 in Canhotinho , Pernambuco as Beatriz de Lyra Alcina Andrade ) is a Brazilian actress .
Lyra is best known as an actress in telenovelas . Her first role was in 1971 in the series Lua-de-Mel e Amendoim , after which she played repeatedly in well-known telenovelas, preferably mothers or older friends of the main characters. Her best-known role, with which she also became internationally known, was that of Dona Ester Almeida in the hit series The Slave Isaura . Lyra is still a popular actress today, in 2006 she played the mother in the telenovela O Profeta .
