Beauty queens
Beauty Queens are a Serbian girl band, founded in Helsinki in May 2007, consisting of Sanja Bogosavljević, Suzana Dinić and Ksenija Milošević.
history
The band members were the background singers of Marija Šerifović during her victory at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007 . After the event, they formed the band Beauty Queens.
Their first appearance after the contest was at the Budva Music Festival in July 2007, where they took second place with their title "Pet na jedan". The song became a hit in Serbia. In August they competed at the Ohrid Festival with the title "Protiv srca". Again, they came in second and the song hit the charts in Macedonia .
In March 2008 they took part in the Beovizija 2008 . They finished first in the semifinals and third in the finals. Her competition title "Zavet" was reminiscent of the song Molitva by Šerifović.
In June 2008, the Beauty Queens sang Tajči's song "Hajde da ludujemo" (with this song Tajči took part in the 1990 Eurovision Song Contest ) at the Vrnjačka Banja Music Festival. They did not take part, but sang during the voting. In 2008 they took part in the Sunčane skale festival with the song "Ti ili on" and reached third place.
