The Bedřich Smetana Museum is a museum in the Czech capital, Prague .

The museum is dedicated to the Czech composer Bedřich Smetana . It is located in downtown Prague near Charles Bridge . The neo-renaissance building, which originally belonged to the Prague waterworks, has housed the museum since 1936. Most of the exhibition is on the first floor. On the second floor there is an archive with materials on the composer Bedřich Smetana and a research center on the composer's life. In the exhibition are letters, photographs and newspaper clippings about Smetana's life as well as various personal items of the composer.

The building was built in 1883/84 according to plans by Antonín Wiehl and at that time served the Prague waterworks.

The museum itself is part of the Czech National Museum and within the same part of the Czech Museum of Music .
