The Fortified room no. 1 Kiev (Russian abbreviation КиУР, УР-1, 1-й укреплённый район, 1-й укрепрайон) was a fortified district in Kyiv region, a complex of defenses and technical obstacles. It was built between 1929 and 1941 to protect the old border of the USSR . The total length of the fortified region was about 85 km between the flanks that were anchored on the Dnieper River . The depth of the defense zone ranged from 1 km to 6 km.

The fortifications did not have a decisive impact on the city's defense in 1941.
