Behringer is an internationally known manufacturer of sound technology .
history
At the age of 16, the Swiss Uli Behringer made his first synthesizer prototype. During his studies as a sound engineer at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences , Behringer worked as a pianist and built mixing consoles. In 1989 the company was founded in Willich , Germany. From 1990 components were created in the People's Republic of China . 2002 in the city of Zhongshan with Behringer City its own plant in China opened.
Behringer manufactures, among other things, analog and digital mixing consoles , loudspeakers , audio amplifiers , guitar amplifiers , power amplifiers , equalizers , e- drums , keyboards , synthesizers , microphones , crossovers and effects devices . An important milestone for the company was the X32 digital mixer , which first became visible in prototypes at trade fairs in 2011 and then formed the starting point for a whole family of digital mixers with different equipment.
Since 2018, Behringer has also appeared as a manufacturer of synthesizers . The first model was the in-house development DeepMind 12 . Replicas of various analog synthesizers followed.
