At the St. Nikolaikirche is a street north of the city center of Lüneburg .

location

The street At the St. Nikolaikirche begins on Baumstraße and runs in a south-easterly direction to Lüner Straße , no street crosses or leaves the street. The length of the street is about 120 meters. The numbering of the houses starts with house number 1 in the northwest of the street and goes to house number 3 in the southeast. Number 4, the church, is south of the street. The road is closed to cars. The church is located on a triangular piece of land between Lüner Strasse and the street Bei der St. Nikolaikirche.

history

Possibly the path was laid out as the shortest route between the harbor district and the Bardowicker Tor. The Bardowicker Tor was built before 1274. Around the church there was a cemetery since 1409, which was occupied until 1815.

At the St. Nikolaikirche 3 Residential building The eaves house has two floors and a gable roof. The ground floor has five axes, with the entrance in the middle. There is a small flight of stairs in front of the entrance. The upper storey is made of timber framing, which protrudes. There is a ribbon of windows over the entire width, the two right axes are drawn out as bay windows. There is a dwelling in the roof. 60x15transparent spacer.svg
