The coconut confectionery Beijinho , Portuguese pronunciation: [bej-zinju] (little kiss in Portuguese), also known as branquinho ("little white man"), is a typical Brazilian birthday party sweet made from sweetened condensed milk and coconut flakes. Beijinho is the coconut version of the Brazilian Brigadeiro .

preparation

The sweet condensed milk is reduced by heating with a little butter and coconut flakes. After cooling, the mass is rolled into small coconut balls, decorated with granulated sugar or coconut flakes and traditionally topped with a single clove on top.
