Siege of Vidin
Several sieges of the city of Vidin took place:
- the siege of Vidin (1003) , the Byzantine emperor Basil II besieged the city
- the Siege of Vidin (1878) when the Russian army besieged the city in the Russo-Turkish War of 1877/78
- the Siege of Vidin (1885) when the Serbian army besieged the city in the Serbian-Bulgarian War
- the Siege of Vidin (1913) when the Serbian army besieged the city in the Second Balkan War
