In various calculation methods for bar statics , local loads ( individual forces , line loads , traction forces , bending moments , impressed deformations, transverse forces ) on individual bars are reduced to two load elements ( L, R ) in order to calculate the overall system. L is the left loading link and R is the right loading link. The loading elements occur, for example, in the Clapeyron three-moment formula . The load elements excluded from the calculation method are the final rotations determined on the single-span girder ,, multiplied by .

Bend line with end twists

1. End rotation φ that is easy to determine on a single-span girder with any load.

2. Simple calculation method for determining the support moment at the support B for a three-panel support having the same field lengths and the same stiffness as a result L and R .

Load terms and calculation methods are printed in many tables.
