Belianís de Grecia

Belianís de Grecia ( Spanish for Belianís of Greece ) is a courtly novel by Jerónimo Fernández from 1579. It is about a knight of the same name in the style of the legends around the influential Amadis de Gaula . The work became known because it was one of the few books that Don Quixote remained after the autodafé in his library .

The English author Samuel Johnson also studied this book.
