Belvedere House is a town house on Great Denmark Street in the north of the Irish capital Dublin .

history

George Rochfort, 2nd Earl of Belvedere , had it built in 1775 for £ 24,000. In 1841 it became a Jesuit college . Today it's a hotel.

Ghosts

The house is said to be haunted by the ghost of Rochfort's mother, Mary Molesworth, 1st Lady of Belvedere , who died here.
