Hi my name is Matthias. I was born in Germany where I also studied Chemistry and Biochemistry at the LMU. After I got my Masters degree I started my PhD in the lab of Dr. Stefanie Kellner. Since then I'm investigating the influence of RNA modifications on neurological diseases. Therefore I use cell culture and a special approach called NAIL-MS which was developed by our group. That's also the initial reason I started a wikipedia account - to generate an article about NAIL-MS.
