Beantragen Sie die Umbenennung Ihres Benutzerkontos

Hallo, I'd like to kindly request you to change your username before March this year. But don't worry, the change may be minimal!

The Wikimedia Foundation will introduce a new category of not logged-in users – temporary accounts which will replace IP users. You may learn more about the project here.

All temporary account names will begin with ~2. More specifically, the new username format will be ~YYYY-n, where YYYY is the year, and n is a number. The prefix ~2 will work for almost 976 years. You may check why we decided to use this format in this Phabricator ticket, and this user research study.

You are one of two registered users with this prefix in the username. We need to avoid your username looking like a temporary account username.

We will be grateful if you pick any username that doesn't begin with ~2, and ideally, a tilde-number string. Just removing the tilde may suffice! Please file this request, and in the "Grund für die Anfrage" field, just paste this link. If for any reason you don't file the request, we will do that for you in March, asking for the most minimal change possible – removing the tilde. You will be able to request for a change again at any point in time.
