Benzopyridine

The term benzopyridine is used for two different chemical substances that only differ in the position of the nitrogen (N).

The term benzopyridine describes:

  • Benzo [ b ] pyridine (also 2,3-benzopyridine or α, β-benzopyridine ), a chemical compound, see quinoline
  • Benzo [ c ] pyridine (also 3,4-benzopyridine or β, γ-benzopyridine ), a chemical compound, see isoquinoline
