Berach
The Saint Berach or Berach of Cluain Coirpthe (* after 500; † February 15, 595 in Ireland ) was an Irish monk and is considered a student of Saint Kevin of Glendalough . He spent most of his life in the Diocese of Elphin . He built a church in Cluain Coirpthe , which is now called Termonbarry ( Irish Tearmann Bearaigh ) or Kilbarry ( Cill Bearaigh , "Church of Berach"). His sister was Saint Midabaria , the abbess of a monastery in Bumlin , County Roscommon , now known as Strokestown . The day of his death and thus also his day of remembrance is generally February 15th, but February 11th is also mentioned occasionally.
