Bergen (Unterweitersdorf municipality)

Bergen is a village in the Unterweitersdorf municipality in Upper Austria.

The settlement in the Central Mühlviertel highlands is north of Unterweitersdorf on a southern slope leading to the Kleiner Gusen at the edge of the forest. The barren mixed pine forests north of Bergen were reforested with spruce and oak in the 2000s. The place can be reached via Reitern and from Linz the Mühlkreis Autobahn passes in a sufficiently close distance. Bergern is listed as a residential area in Unterweitersdorf's zoning plan.
