The Berlin Story publishing house dedicated to the history of Berlin.

history

In 1993 the journalist Wieland Giebel founded the Giebel Verlag in Berlin . It was renamed Berlin Story Verlag in 2003, as Giebel has been running the Berlin Bookstore Berlin Story since 1997.

In 2010 the publishing house was awarded as an innovative location in the Federal Republic of Germany, Land of Ideas (Patron Horst Köhler ).

The publishing house was spun off into its own company in 2012. The bookstore continues to operate under a new name.

The publications of Berlin Story Verlag cover the past, present and important people of Berlin. Social issues are also dealt with. For example, in Last Rescue Berlin, the story of various people who live on the streets of Berlin. In addition to author's books, reprints (often commented on) are also published.
