Berlin instructions

The Berlin instructions (short for instructions for the alphabetical catalog of the public libraries ) were a library set of rules for public libraries .

They were created between 1938 and 1942 and were based on the much more complicated Prussian instructions created for academic libraries .

Today public libraries work with the RAK .
