Bernd Spiekerkötter (born January 22, 1942 ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

The striker Bernd Spiekerkötter began his career at VfB 03 Bielefeld and moved up in the early 1960s to the squad of the first team that was playing in the Association of Westphalia . In 1963 Spiekerkötter and the "Hüpkern" were vice-Westphalia champions after the Bielefeld team had lost the final against Lüner SV . Three years later Spiekerkötter moved to the regional league club VfL Osnabrück . With eleven goals in the 1966/67 season, he immediately became the top scorer of his team. In the summer of 1968 Spiekerkötter moved to Preußen Münster , where he was a regular but met significantly less than in Osnabrück. After three years in Münster, Spiekerkötter moved to 1. FC Paderborn for a year before returning to his home club. In 1973 he was with the "Hüpkern" with a 2-1 win against Rot-Weiß Lüdenscheid Westphalia champion. Spiekerkötter scored both goals of his team, which failed in the subsequent promotion round to the Regionalliga. In total, Bernd Spiekerkötter played 150 regional league games and scored 27 goals. 61 games and 21 goals were played by Osnabrück and 89 games and six goals by Münster.
